Animal Countdown (Hardcover)

Count backwards with endangered animals in this new lift-the-flap book from two-time Caldecott Honoree Laura Vaccaro Seeger.

Young animal lovers and budding ecologists will delight in flexing their counting skills with each turn of the page. In each spread, animals peek through cutouts--guess who? Lift the flap to reveal some of earth's most dazzling endangered creatures, from leatherback sea turtles to giant pandas to snow leopards and more. When you're done counting the animals, check out the back to learn more about how you can help protect them.

Laura Vaccaro Seeger, beloved creator of books like Red, Blue, Green, and the Dog and Bear Series, brings her entrancingly colorful style and inventive use of die cuts to a book that serves as at once a counting exercise, guess-who game, and kid-friendly introduction to the fight to protect biodiversity.
