Canadian Shipping & Returns:

Canada Post Update

Orders placed in Canada will NOT be affected by the Canada Post strike unless shipping to a PO Box or Remote locations.  If you do require delivery to a P.O. Box, please anticipate delays due to the Canada Post strike. All other deliveries will be made with alternative Freight companies.

If you live in an area only serviced by Canada Post, follow the steps below to ensure minimal disruptions to your deliveries:

  • To ensure successful delivery, switch from a PO Box to a CIVIC address (home, business, or friend/family's address)
  • Double-check your shipping address in checkout, to ensure you've updated properly.

Please Note:

  • Orders not going to P.O. boxes, Airstage locations, or remote areas will not be affected as Bright bean will use different carriers.
  • Some remote area orders may need pickup at the closest Carrier location.
  • Expect delays for orders already in the Canada Post network, with no guaranteed delivery timing from Bright Bean.

 

Shipping is FREE for orders over $35 (excluding furniture, oversized and bulk orders) to almost any location in Canada excluding remote territories and provinces.

For order values under $35, please use the following chart for freight costs:

*Shipments to remote locations will be charged a different fee and can be reviewed during the checkout process. 

Shipping Times

Shipping times are based on the date the package leaves our location, not from when you make the order. We do our best to process orders quickly, but during peak seasons your order may take one to two business days to be packaged and shipped from our fulfillment centre.  Days are measured in business days, not including weekends or holidays.

Canada: Expedited shipping takes approximately 2-10 days and ExpressPost shipping usually takes less than a week depending on your location

Returning a Product

Not completely satisfied with your purchase? Our goal is to make your shopping experience convenient, affordable and enjoyable. We accept returns of unopened products up to 45 days after the date of purchase.

To receive authorization for a return, please contact customer service at hello@brightbeantoys.com to obtain a Return Authorization number known as an RA number. Once you receive an RA number, please ship the item(s) back within 14 business days or the RA number will become null and void.

Please note that we do not refund shipping costs on returns and/or exchanges, unless there was a processing error on our behalf. 

Refunds

We'll notify you of your refund or credit via e-mail after we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund or credit in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days after we receive your return.

Damaged or Defective Products

If you have received damaged, defective, or incorrectly shipped merchandise, please notify customer service at hello@brightbeantoys.com within 48 hours up receipt of the order. If you receive a parcel that appears damaged in any way, please report a “Possible Hidden Damage” to the delivery agent before signing and they will register it on the freight bill.  When reporting any damage or shortage to us, please provide us with your customer and order number, which can be found printed on your packing slip.

Remote Areas

Remote locations are locations that Canada Post calls Air Stage Locations, places where mail must be airlifted for more than six (6) months of the year. Click here to view all postal codes and communities that are classified as Air stage locations.

There may also be additional shipping charges on orders depending on the size and bulk of the order. We will be sure to contact customers before any such charge is added, and we only do this very rarely.

Bright Bean is currently unable to accept returns from remote locations. If you have a problem with your order, please email hello@brightbeantoys.com or call 1-866-369-4022 to speak with a customer care representative.

Customers in remote locations can call 1-866-369-4022 and speak to a special customer care associate to learn more about our policies. Bright Bean Toys is trying very hard to offer the best service possible for our customers in remote areas.

US Shipping & Returns:

At Bright Bean, we take care of your US orders through a range of dependable courier services. Please note that the buyer has to cover all shipping costs, including any duty, brokerage, or additional charges imposed by the carrier. For all US shipments, a minimum delivery charge of $15 applies. If the shipping fee exceeds this, rest assured, we'll get in touch with you before dispatching your order.

To make a purchase for delivery to the US, you simply need to choose the US currency from the dropdown list on the top right. Make sure you've picked the United States as your shipping destination at the time of checkout. We're here to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible!

US Returns:

At Bright Bean, we're quite certain you'll love what you've purchased. However, if for any reason you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help. Start by dropping us an email at hello@brightbeantoys.com, letting us know you'd like to return your product.

We'll provide you with a Return Authorization Number, which you should jot down on the outside of your return package. For your security and peace of mind, we recommend using an insured method of shipping and providing us with a tracking number. We are not responsible for parcels that go missing or get stolen during transit. You have 14 days from the delivery date to send back your purchase. Please note, we do not cover return shipping costs for orders outside Canada.

What a wild ride this year has been! We're here to ensure your gifts reach their destination before December 25th. Our shipping times are earlier this year, so you can relax knowing your presents will make it on time, despite any delays or craziness!
