Bright Box 1: Infant Exploration & Sensory Discovery

Ages: 0–12 months

During the first year of life, babies are discovering the world through their senses. They explore by touching, grasping, observing  movement, and responding to sound and interaction. These early experiences build the foundation for speech and motor development, social communication, and problem-solving.

Choosing toys that truly support these early milestones can be overwhelming for new parents. Bright Box 1 was carefully curated with guidance from Speech-Language Pathologist Lauren Reznick to bring together toys that encourage sensory exploration, early movement activities, and meaningful interaction.

Each toy in this box supports development in a different way, helping babies practice reaching, grasping, becoming more comfortable in  tummy time, and beginning to understand cause-and-effect.
