I Am That I Am, Just Like Nature- Let Me Be Me

I am that I am is an affirmation that teachers and caregivers can share with children of all ages. The idea behind this statement is that it is perfectly fine to feel and be exactly as you are in a moment on any given day. This book is comprised of affirmations for kids with each one having a connection to a part of nature. Children can relate to the narratives that are associated with each affirmation, as well as nature's essence. A young, school age character refers to occurrences throughout a typical day in which she chooses to learn, reflect upon, and make changes to how she reacts to situations. Children who listen to and/or read this text will connect to the character, who uses nuances that a school aged person can relate to from his/her own experiences.
